Staff Sergeant Brendan Hellbusch is a dedicated Air Transportation Craftsman currently stationed at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. With a career defined by professionalism, resilience, and a commitment to service, SSgt Hellbusch plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of air cargo and passenger movements vital to U.S. Air Force missions around the globe.

A seasoned veteran of multiple deployments, SSgt Hellbusch holds the distinguished honor of being among the last remaining U.S. Airmen in Afghanistan before the final withdrawal in 2021. During this critical period, he contributed to the complex and high-pressure logistics operations that supported the final phases of U.S. involvement, ensuring the successful transport of personnel and materiel under challenging conditions.

Beyond active-duty service, SSgt Hellbusch continues to exemplify leadership and community dedication as a trustee for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where he advocates for fellow veterans and supports initiatives that uphold the values of service and sacrifice.
